Balwyn North runs to prestige cars, dark metallics and soft European clear coats. Those are exactly the finishes that reward a properly prepared ceramic coating — and exactly the ones ruined by a rushed one.
A ceramic coating is optically clear and hard. Whatever is beneath it — swirl marks, holograms, etching — gets sealed in and magnified, and removing the coating to fix it means starting the whole job again. We never skip correction to hit a price, because the customer pays for that shortcut for the next three years.
German and Japanese clear coats vary enormously in hardness and thickness. We measure paint depth before correcting and remove the minimum required. On a car you intend to keep, or sell later with factory paint intact, that restraint is the whole point.
We work from a fixed, enclosed garage at 4 Cherry Blossom Ct, Doncaster East — not a mobile van. Ceramic coating needs controlled lighting to assess honestly, and a clean indoor space to finish properly. Neither is possible in a driveway.
Every quote is written and free. If a cheaper option gets you most of the result, we will say so.
Certification and warranty. CQUARTZ professional coatings are only sold to trained installers and carry a manufacturer-backed warranty of up to three years when applied correctly over prepared paint. Retail products have neither.
Not meaningfully, when it's measured. We check thickness before starting and take off the minimum needed, which preserves your factory paint for resale or future work.
Paint correction from $349.99, ceramic coating from $699.99. The combined figure depends on vehicle size and how much defect removal the paint genuinely needs. Free written quote first.
